The process of changing makes people feel uncomfortable, which is why they often resist so much.

If the changes (and the stress) are forced upon us, the beginnings of trauma (however slight or grand) are given birth to and set in motion.
It sucks being controlled and it’s painful being forced to comply with an uncomfortable and impactful change that you aren’t on board for.
None of us like being forced to think a certain way or act in ways that aren’t authentic to us.
Individual liberty is not something to be scoffed at.
But using your liberty to stay stuck like a DO NOT RESUSCITATE ORDER - is taking liberties with your own self agency and giving way too much power to your own self sabotaging tendencies!
We all do it!
If you don’t think you do, apparently your self-deception is functioning flawlesslyπ§¨!
We lie to ourselves constantly about being better tomorrow, exercising, eating more healthy and any number of wishes we make that never come true.
β You need to be honest with yourself about the changes you need to make.
β And you need to get your mind around the idea that you don’t always tell yourself the truth or have your own back.
β And if a change is in your best interest to make, decide for yourself that you’ve decided to change - and that having to change simply coincides with your agenda.

βWhat (or who) is stopping you?
Ponder those questions for a bit today - and then decide to implement a plan that you can set in motion, that gives birth to a better version of you (YOU 2.0).
