As great as you are, you are definitely not perfect.
You have some good about you (hopefully ton of stuff).
And you also have some not so great things about you (if you are honest with yourself).
It’s ok to have less than desirable traits or attributes - it’s part of what differentiates us.
And it’s part of being a whole human being.
No one is without flaws, imperfections or room for improvements.
Not even your favourite celebrities.
Whether it be their court cases, their marital disputes, affairs, drug charges, insider trading, politically incorrect statements, messy feuds or psychotic episodes that demonstrate this truth to us.
Celebrities aren’t always all they appear to be. Underneath all the glitz and glam they are just people, with qualities perceived to be both good and bad.
Nothing in your world is exclusively good or bad, there is always at least two sides to everything in a three-dimensional universe.
But if you focus on the less than best bits about you, you are not going to feel as motivated and driven.
Your motivation can be a frail beastie that needs your protection.
It can be a dog eat dog world out there - and if you are already growling at yourself over something “bad” about you before your day begins, you are unlikely to have a great day.
It’s not possible to be perfect.
But it is possible to focus on desirable aspects of yourself instead of unpleasant elements.
Focus on the good about you today and trust that the bad doesn’t need your help or your attention.
Stay focused on the good all day, and get up and do it all over again tomorrow.
Repeat as needed and keep repeating until your “good self” achieves something great. Then focus on that and keep going…
